Lunar Festival is made up of many different areas across the Lunar Arena. Many of them will be familiar to our regular Lunar-goers, but others are brand new for 2018, allowing us to give you an even bigger programme of music,  workshops, activities, talks, interviews and more.

The stages, fire, bars and street food are all Lunar regulars – you can read a little more about them below. To find out about the rest of our many venues (old and new), click through the boxes at the bottom of this page!

Lunar Stage & Half Moon Stage

Placed side by side and with performances alternating, our stage set-up will mean you won’t be traipsing around the festival site from one stage to the other to see your favourite acts. Simply turn your head to the left or right to watch each stage – easy! Plus, with all the sets being staggered, none of our acts will clash meaning there’s no reason to miss any of the acts you want to see.

To find out exactly who is performing across these stages over the weekend, take a look at our Listen Element.

The heart of Lunar, the Fire is lit on Thursday and with help from our guests it’s kept going right through till the Monday. From here you can enjoy Live Music on the Lunar Stage in the day and after 11pm you can relax and watch the film and visuals on the LED Screen. You’ll find impromptu Fireside acoustic sessions and talks late into the night. On the Sunday the Fire becomes the focal point for the Procession.

Lunar Bar and Streetfood

The Lunar Bar will stock the award winning Purity range of Ales and Imported Lagers alongside Craft Ciders, Wines and Spirits. We will also have our famous Lunar Cocktail Caravan. To keep you fed throughout the weekend, we have carefully chosen our caterers so you can be sure of a healthy mix of fine dining from around the world. You can find out more about each of our caterers by going to our Taste Element page.

Please note that no alcohol is permitted in ANY of these areas, except alcohol which you purchase from our bars within the arena. If you decide to bring some alcohol with you to the festival, it is only permitted in the campsites. Anyone found trying to take alcohol into any areas other than the campsites will have their alcohol confiscated.
