As an organisation, Greenpeace defend the natural world and promote peace by investigating, exposing and confronting environmental abuse, and championing responsible solutions for our fragile environment. In order to do this, they need people to become involved in our campaigns.
Their set up will offer festival-goers the chance to become immersed in their campaigns in unique and interactive ways. Through the Greenpeace Virtual Reality experience, supporters can experience amazing places like the Amazon and Arctic, to see first-hand exactly what it is they’re campaigning to protect – and how important it is they succeed.
The VR experience is in-line with one of the founding principles of Greenpeace, to ‘bear witness’: To witness and make known events and stories in the hope of inspiring action. Through VR they will be able to show supporters some of the most amazing yet threatened places on earth, which they may never be able to see in person.
