Kaytee DeWolfe is a Texan-born “Folk Noir” singer-songwriter. She spent her childhood between Fort Worth, Texas and the Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona. Kaytee moved to Birmingham in 1998, writing for and fronting bands such as DeWolfe, Bi-Polar Baby and The Dark Retreat.
Since living in the UK, she’s performed for BBC Introducing, recorded backing vocals for Ocean Colour Scene and recently supported Juanita Stein of Howling Bells on her last tour. Kaytee’s latest material sees her on acoustic guitar and vocals with a set of original songs blending Goth sensibilities, femme punk a la PJ Harvey with a slab of surfer rock from guitarist Andrew Wilson.
