THE BRYTER BROADCASTING COMPANY invites Lunar Ticket Holders to sit still awhile, for the 28 minutes 22 seconds it takes to play both sides of ‘Pink Moon’ – a long-playing vinyl album by Nick Drake, in True Fidelity.
The vinyl will be played on a 1965 Pye Archiphon Stereo Gramophone Player formerly owned by the Drake family in their Tanworth-In-Arden sitting room. Warning: the album Pink Moon contains only voice, guitar and one piano, and the copy in question contains scratches, pops and crackles.
Only 40 numbered tickets will be available at a price of £5.00 each (must have a Festival Entry ticket to attend). Mobile telephones will be extinguished. Midnight on July 27th, for one night only, in a secret location – tickets sold on a first-come, first-served basis
The evening will be presented by Cally, manager of Bryter Music: the Estate of Nick Drake and will be followed by matters to take your fancy. Tickets are available here.
