In the daytime at Lunar 2018 this woodland clearing hosted workshops and activities aimed at children to help them learn more about the world around them. This was a place children could explore, experiment, investigate, problem solve and feel a sense of freedom and belonging. It was a safe place where highly trained staff provided an educational experience to aid your child’s learning but to also provide them with a chance to enjoy the outdoors and have lots of fun in the fresh air.
In the evening, the forest area played host to intimate music events like our infamous Nick Drake Record Player Sessions. Hosted by Sally, manager of Bryter Must: the Estate of Nick Drake, this gave non-chatters and sit-stiffers the chance to listen to one of Nick Drake’s albums in it’s entirety right in the heart of his spiritual home. This was followed by impromptu conviviality around a camp fire.
